Service Delivery Platform A New World of Innovative Services
Internet based technologies for applications development and deployment has become carrier-grade to the point where Java technology can deliver services over legacy and IP-based networks. Web 2.0 and Mashups are connecting people and combining content from multiple sources into an integrated experience. At the same time, voice calling and multimedia messaging capabilities are being integrated into applications to enrich interactions. The same question remains: where are the innovative services that will generate new revenues?
Oracle has been working with an ecosystem of third party application partners who have developed innovative services utilizing a standards-based service delivery platform. This workshop session will introduce 10 innovative services from Oracle application partners featuring video sharing, messaging, presence, and various call control capabilities. Each Oracle partner will highlight application deployment use cases and best practices with communications customers. Oracle will provide an overview of the Oracle Service Delivery Platform and how these innovative services can be taken to market within the context of existing BSS and OSS investments.
